Lead Pastor
Lee enjoys life, loves to preach, and is interested in people’s stories. He arrived at Sparks Methodist Church in July 2018 and is eager to meet you. Previously he served churches in Napa, Los Gatos, Gilroy and Cupertino. Lee and JoAnne have been married for 36 years and have two adult children. They love hiking, skiing and the outdoors. Their zest for life and joy in God’s creation inspires many to embrace a life of faith.
Megan Bay - Office Manager
Here at SUMC Megan is the helping voice you’ll hear at the other end of the phone. She was born in Calif but now calls Sparks, NV her home. Not only is she the eyes and ears of our Church Office, she is also involved in our Children’s Ministries. She will be delighted to hear from you and assist with any needs or concerns that you may have.
JoAnne (Jo) Neish
Communications Specialist and Director of Music and Worship
JoAnne helps to communicate and create digital media for the Sparks UMC community. She has worked with media for over 16 years in churches where she and Lee have served and has been a professional musician and worship leader since high school. She produces the music and video content for all online worship services and meditations. She has been blessed to serve with Lee, (Pastor), in all of their appointments.
